A POEM IS BORN........

A poem is born
from the womb of pain,
When the heart is torn
from sufferings and strain
The soul sizzles silently,
The face hides patiently
Behind a serene smile......

The thoughts thicken
Coagulating emotions
Feelings ferment ,
Strangulating commotions,
Of the restless soul!
Oh, the duality of this role
Sends shivers down my spine.

Seething sparks
In wrinkled eyes,
Age stealthily
Creeps like spies .
Time lashes blows again
There is no loss, there is no gain!
When the heart is torn
From sufferings and strain,
Then poems are born
From the womb of pain.

ek hasrat.......

Ik khwaab ko haqiqat mein
badalne ki hai himmat.
us khwaab ko taabir dein,
itni mile fursat.
Lamhon ko karein qaid
aur hasraton ko aazad
to aasma muthhi mein ho
aisi hai zurrat!
Why is it that those you love ,
are the ones who cause you pain?
you want to walk a mile with them
but you feel you're just chained
to an utter hopelessness.............

Aankhon ke gird maine

Umrein batore lee

Aur bech ke kuchh khushiyan

Yeh Zindagi mol lee.

FATHER, DEAR FATHER!

He used to walk me,

And now he sits stooped

Like a question mark

on a wheelchair.

Why so much despair?

Inspite of all our care

Life ebbs away!

As slowly and silently

As water vaporizes....into the grey dark clouds.

Doubts and only doubts

Hover his wise white brow!

Why? O God! oh why?

"When will I walk and how?"

And no answers come.

Just more darkness grows,

Denser than ever

Enhancing our fears.........

Shall I just watch him go?

Shall I just remain a dumb witness

To his torture so?

His eyes close slowly

As they see no hope around,

His ears hear no sound

And all the myriad forms

just melt into nothingness,

For one who is drowning

Into the bottom of a sea ,

Just another Titanic

With a sunk glory.

MUSINGS

what is fair and what is not,

is not for us to decide,

opportunities are there galore,

all we can is abide,

for fair is He, in all his ways,

the message is loud and clear,

get to know thyself an' the worldly ways,

to Him every soul is dear!
